Position Summary Information for Announcement

Job Description Summary

Provide Makerspace, Digication & Qualtrics support to students and faculty via phone, email and in-person. Training will be provided.

Specific Duties

>Train students & faculty on Makerspace equipment use.
>Provide ongoing support to students & faculty with Makerspace projects.
>Clean & maintain Makerspace tools & room.
>Provide Qualtrics & Digication support to students & faculty.
>Assist or lead Makerspace workshops.
>Other Makerspace duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

>Comfortable with technology
>Creating/designing experience
>Customer service oriented
>Have good command of English (verbal & written)

Preferred Qualifications

>Knowledge of Office Suite programs
>Knowledge of SPSS
>Knowledge of Qualtrics
>Knowledge of Digication

Benefits Summary

Employees are eligible for the following benefits:

One hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum accrual of 24 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year and capped at 48 hours.

University of La Verne Defined Contribution Retirement Plan – can contribute employee voluntary contributions, excluding wages derived from federal work study funds.

In accordance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), employees who work an average of 30 or more hours per week, will be eligible for medical coverage through the University of La Verne.
